Kits with all the materials you will need (including fibre) are included with registration.

Techniques covered

In this class, you will create a fabulous felted scarf and learn:

• how to lay out fibre
• how to add embellishments
• how to wet felt
• how to finish your scarf

Prerequisites

This is a physical class with lots of movement. You will need to be able to remain standing for most of the class time. Please make sure before registering that you are not allergic to wool as you will be working with wool fibre throughout the class

Materials

You will need:

• Two large towels (old ones are fine)
• Comfortable shoes
• An apron to keep fibres off your clothes (optional)

It can get warm in the classroom with everyone moving around, so you might want to dress in layers!
