Are there any spinners out there who would like to join us for a spinning social on the afternoon of Saturday, 29 July?  We will be getting together at 2pm in the downstairs classroom to spin and chat.  Our core group of spinners are all spindlers, but wheels are welcome, too (bring your own, of course) as there is plenty of room downstairs.

New spinners are particularly welcome, so long as you have your own spindle and fibre.  This is not a class, but we are happy to share tips and encouragement.  Learning to spin is mostly about practice, and the best way to practice is in the company of other spinners.  If you are a new spinner with a wheel, you should have enough experience with your wheel to be comfortable with its operation – we don’t know if there will be any other wheel spinners there to help with wheel questions.
